I foster the connection to the human essential in my interiors. Throughout my efforts as a designer, it is my intent to help us reconnect to what is most important, the health of our children, our environment and ourselves.
As a triple bottom line company (people, planet, profit) Joanne De Palma Incorporated designs healthy interiors and sustainable furniture. It follows a strict adherence to the use of organic, natural and sustainable materials, such as 100% natural rubber padding (no chemical foams), O VOC and low VOC finishes, FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood and recycled bronze. Local sourcing is employed as much as possible. We honor the craftsman, artist and builder on an integral level, as well as economical production methods, and high safety standards in the workplace. Our furniture, made from either recyclable or biodegradable raw materials, is built to last.
